Rented Holiday Chalet

O ur property is located 20 km from OdorheiuSecuiesc (Székelyudvarhely), at the foot of HarghitaMountains, next to the Zetea catchment lake (known as Zetea Dam).

The catchment lake situated at about 500 meters from the cottage,with its 140 hectares of water surface is suitable for fishing, swimming, surfing, boating and of course for ice-skating during winter. The surrounding mountain streams are the favourite places of fishing enthusiasts.

The cottage is able to accommodate12 people (+2 extra beds). In the main building, there are two apartments – both with a built-in attic space- and a two-room basement area (kitchen and dining room).

In both units, the ground floor rooms have 2 single beds and the upper rooms 1 double bed + 2 single beds. The two apartments have their own bathrooms, with constant hot and cold water.

On request, we can accommodate rooms with extra beds. We provide bed linen and towels.

If you want to prepare your own meals, you can cook on a wood burning or an electric stove in the cellar, or even in the outdoor oven with wood fires.

We provide all the utensils: plates, cutlery, kettles, cauldrons, etc. The kitchen has fridge, microwave, electric hob and a coffee machine.

We also have a nice gazebo in the courtyard, next to it an outdoor electric oven and a renovated peasant oven. In this oven, you can prepare crispy piglet and homemade bread, as at grandma’s house! The cottage has nearly 1 hectare of land and fruit garden, bordered by Târnava Mare (Nagy-Küküllő) river, an excellent place for fishing too.
